The 10th Annual Mayor’s Hometown Heroes Breakfast will take place at the American Village on Friday, October 11th at 8 a.m.
The Mayor’s Hometown Heroes Breakfast was started in 2010 by Mayor Ben McCrory in conjunction with the State’s Year of Alabama Small Towns & Downtowns program. The purpose of this annual event is to honor past and present members of the Montevallo community who have made a positive impact in our city and beyond. Mayor Hollie Cost has continued this tradition, with the event growing each and every year
The Mayor’s Breakfast is organized by the Mayor’s Office and is not a part of the city’s annual budget. The event is solely produced by the generosity of others.
