NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
MONDAY AUGUST 12, 2026 AT 6:00 PM
In accordance with Section 11-43-50 of the Legislature of Alabama, the Montevallo City Council will hold a meeting for a Public Hearing on Monday, August 12, 2026 at 6:00 pm at 541 Main Street in Montevallo, Alabama, for the purpose of acting on the following items:

Montevallo Cottages Rezoning from A-R to R-2 SD
This is a request from Chris Reebals, Christopher Architecture & Interiors, registered agent of Montevallo Cottages, LLC., property owner, for a change in the zone district boundary from A-R Agricultural Residential District to R-2 SD Single-Family Dwelling Special District, for approximately 0.89 acres, to allow for the subdivision of the property to create four lots for residential use. The subject property is located at 5868 State Route 25. (Parcel ID 58-36-1-02-0-002-071.000)
All persons who so desire shall have an opportunity to speak in favor of or in opposition to the above case. The case may be reviewed at the offices of the Shelby County Department of Development Services located in the Shelby County Services Building, 1123 County Services Drive, Pelham, Alabama, 35124.
