ONE LANE of traffic will be CLOSED on Shelby St. from the alley to Main St. and all of Valley St. between Shelby St. and Moreland Dr. to safely perform this work. Mayor Rusty Nix, the City Council, the Administrative Staff and Employees of the City of Montevallo are saddened by the passing of our friend and co-worker Wayne Whatley. A dedicated member of our Park and Recreation Crew since 2021, Wayne worked to help make things better in our community.
