Alabama Forestry Commission Issues Fire Restrictions for the Weekend - March 27, 2026

*NOTICE* City Hall Administrative Offices will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday. The Recycling Center will be closed on Friday, April 3rd and Saturday, April 4th in observance of Good Friday.

SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, March 28, 2026! The City of Montevallo will be participating in Shelby County Alabama's FREE Landfill Day for residents. Bring trash to Montevallo’s Recycling Center (1120 Overland Rd) from 7 am to 1:30 pm. *NOTE* Have your items to the Recycling Center by 1:30 pm so Public Works can get to the Landfill on TIME! Click here for "need to know" info.
